These were Inspired by the Sin City comic book artist Frank miller. The first piece represents our general lives. Written in the top corners is, “What do you have when you’re gone” with the word “Nothing” filling in the canvas space. The first Panel focuses on Love, Lust and sex. Panel two represents material items. I used currency because its so dominant in all our lives. Panel three is a large explosion, representing death and loss.
The quote from this next piece was written by a band called, “The Aesthetic” in a song called, “Alive”. The quote says, “Now I lay you down to sleep, I take from you your soul to keep. If you die before you wake, your soul is mine alone to take”. The word “BANG” then covers the canvas space with a man pointing a revolver. Basically someone is about to die, circumstances are unknown its really up for the viewer to decide. The possibilities are endless.
